Other touring companies came to Australia during the first decades of the twentieth century and also had a significant impact on audiences. They included the visit by Adeline Genée and the Imperial Russian Ballet in 1919, the tour by Olga Spessivtseva and the Dandré-Levitoff Russian Ballet in 1934 and the momentous visit by Ballet Rambert between 1947 and 1949.
