Borovansky choreographed several ballets for the Borovansky Ballet. Some of them, such as Vltava, drew on his European heritage. Vltava, was a choreographic representation of the Czech river, Vltava. It also drew inspiration from the gymnastic displays presented by Czech youth organisations, which Borovansky knew well from his childhood.
