The National Library of Australia is proud to present Paradise Possessed: The Rex Nan Kivell Collection. An astute connoisseur, Nan Kivell's magnificent collection documents the European discovery, exploration and colonisation of the South Pacific over three centuries.

Visit the exhibition and learn more about the drawings, paintings, manuscripts, books and rare maps - many on show for the first time. Join us for lively talks and events highlighting different aspects of the Rex Nan Kivell collection.
