Now I think I’ve found my own environment … The house itself is about 120 years old, in a very wandering wilderness of a garden where I can grow my own flowers for painting, and the atmosphere is peaceful and very conducive to my work.

I fell in love with the place when I saw it. I thought, ‘I could live here and I could paint here and it would be my setting’… That’s how it happened and I’ve never regretted it. I’ve made this my home and I never want to move and I feel happy here with my work.
