Acknowledgements

Many organisations and staff have been involved in the successful development of the South Land to New Holland: Dutch Charting of Australia 1606–1756. We would particularly like to thank the following for their support and encouragement:

Australia on the Map: a community based organisation, Australia on the Map proposed to commemorate this anniversary through a range of initiatives which celebrate the mapping of Australia by navigators of all nationalities.

Council of Australian State Libraries (CASL): for creation of a collaborative web site which will focus on the early mapping of Australia by the Dutch, and for providing project management, curatorial involvement and digitisation of collection material to create this web site.
