Maps
The National Library of
Australias Map Section has many maps relating to the Federation period.
All maps pre-1900 are classed as rare and although most are catalogued, there
are some which are still to be catalogued. The Map Section also has a number of
railway maps showing development from this period. Please contact the
Map librarian for more
information.
The rare maps of the National
Library can be searched by subject using Australia (date). Some of the
rare maps relating to Federation held by the National Library are listed
below.
