Ann Moyal
Dr Ann Moyal is an historian of Australian science, technology and telecommunication. Her books include A Bright & Savage Land: Scientists in Colonial Australia, Clear Across Australia: A History of Telecommunications, Portraits in Science, and most recently, Platypus: The Extraordinary Story of How a Curious Creature Baffled the World. Her autobiography Breakfast with Beaverbrook; Memoirs of an Independent Woman led to her founding the Independent Scholars Association of Australia in 1995.
