Patricia Clarke
Patricia Clarke, writer, editor, journalist, is the author of eight books on women in nineteenth-century Australia , including several biographies of women writers. She edited Judith Wright’s autobiography and is co-editing a book of her letters. She has been awarded several Literature Board grants including a two-year fellowship. During her Harold White Fellowship she researched a biography of Queensland-born novelist, Rosa Praed, published as Rosa ! Rosa ! by Melbourne University Press.
