Ross McMullin
Ross McMullin’s second book was the commissioned centenary ALP history The Light on the Hill: The Australian Labor Party 1891–1991. His third book, a biography of an outstanding and under-recognised WWI Australian commander, Pompey Elliott, won the Melbourne University Press Award for Literature and the Christina Stead Award for biography. Last year his most recent book was published, So Monstrous a Travesty: Chris Watson and the World’s First National Labor Government.
