Shona McCartin
Interloans Librarian, Lincoln University, Canterbury, New Zealand

Shona is the Interloans Librarian at Lincoln University, Canterbury, New Zealand and has responsibility for the day-to-day running of Interloans, Request and Supply. Interloans is part of the Information Services Department where she also works on the Information/Reference Desk. Coming into Library work in 1981 she gained experience across Acquisitions and Lending Services before joining the Interloans team in 1991, becoming Interloan Librarian in 1995. She is a member of LIANZIA and the Aoraki Interloan Users Group, which she has hosted on several occasions. Coming from a farming background she has a particular interest in Agricultural issues and research. Other interests include Family Genealogy -which involved organising a Family Reunion and writing a book in 2002; Brownies, Guides, Plunket and Lincoln University Women's Group. Shona has a family of four and five grandchildren at present.
