Gail Wanner
ILL Product Manager, Dynix, Deer River, MN, USA

Gail Wanner is a professional librarian with 15 years of experience in public libraries, filling a variety of roles, including Children's Librarian, Branch Manager, Circulation Manager, and System Administrator for the local automation system during implementation. One of the projects she worked on was the Irving Project, an early 1980's virtual catalog and resource sharing system for libraries in the Denver, Colorado area. She became a Dynix employee 15 years ago. For the past 5 years, Gail has been product manager for interlibrary loan products, including CPS Systems' URSA and Dynix RSS. This paper is based on this experience but is focused on standards and the trend toward automating interlibrary loan rather than being specific to any product or vendor.
