I have found an item in your catalogue, how can I access it online?

The majority of items found in the Library’s catalogue are not available online. If a digitised version is available there will be a link to it from within the catalogue record. The National Library digitises selected items in its collections. All digitisation undertaken by the Library must observe the Copyright Act 1968.

Electronic items available via a licenced resource can only be accessed offsite by first logging in with your National Library card details. In order to log in you must be an Australian resident and a registered reader.

Some electronic resources are available onsite in the National Library building only. Items from these electronic resources can not be accessed offsite.
