How can I find information on community organisations?

The Australian Government Department of Social Services Communities and Vulnerable People webpage provides access to online services and information for Australian community organisations and communities. Each state and territory government website provides links to community groups and organisations, generally found under the heading "communities".

Community groups can also be found by doing an Internet search using Google and entering keywords such as community + alcohol, or community + disability. To find organisations in your local area, look under "Community organisations" or "Community services" in the Yellow Pages.
