Where can I find the costs of maintaining children?

The Family Law Courts website includes information and figures on the costs of maintaining children.

The Australian Institute of Family Studies has conducted much of the research into the costs of children. The Institute’s library has compiled a bibliography, which includes some online publications. The Institute’s publications relating to costs of children can also be found on their website.

Costs of children: research commissioned by the Ministerial Taskforce on Child Support is a collection of three reports on the costs of children in Australian families. Two of these three reports are available online.
