A special project was begun in 1999 in conjunction with the National Library called Asian Accounts of Australia: Change, Comparison, and Analysis. It includes Bibliographies of Chinese and Japanese-language materials about Australia.
The Library also holds two books that may be useful: About face : Asian accounts of Australia and Double vision : Asian accounts of Australia .
