The National Library holds incomplete runs of the Commonwealth electoral rolls from 1901 to date. The online guide Australian electoral rolls: print resources has a useful summary of what the National Library holds for each of the various states and territories. Australian Electoral Rolls are not accessible online. Selected electoral rolls can be accessed from each state and territory library. Some current Australian Electoral rolls may also be available from your local library, family history or genealogy society. The Australian Electoral Commission has useful information on Australian electoral history, past federal elections and referenda, as well as links to the state and territory electoral authorities. The Australian Electoral Commission does not provide online access to electoral rolls.
