Innovative Ideas Forum 2007
Innovative Ideas Forum
Theatre, National Library of Australia
Parkes Place, Canberra
19 April 2007
The Forum brings together a range of speakers on topics covering infrastructure developments as well as resource discovery and delivery. The forum provides an opportunity for those working on projects or programs that enhance the national information infrastructure to share information about innovative new ideas, developments and trends in providing access to information to all Australians, and allowing Australians to interact in different ways with cultural institutions.
Comments after last year's event included:
- I felt that all the presentations were worthwhile, and I enjoyed the mix. The "Big Picture" stuff certainly broadened my thinking and knowledge.
- ...opened up a whole new thought process, not only for my role in libraries but in information management generally
- I came back excited, challenged, frustrated, annoyed, wanting things to get better(always a good start) ...
- The topics were all relevant and it was good to come across some topics I didn't have much awareness of because of the current confines of my work
