Innovative Ideas Forum 2009
'The value and significance of social networking for cultural institutions'
Theatre, National Library of Australia, Parkes Place, Canberra Friday, 27 March 2009Since 2006, the National Library of Australia has organised an Innovative Ideas Forum, with the aim of highlighting new ideas of interest to libraries and other cultural institutions. The Forum has provided an opportunity for those working on projects or programs that enhance information delivery to share information about developments and trends in providing access to information, and allowing Australians to interact in different ways with cultural institutions.
This year, the Forum will have a particular emphasis on “social networking” innovations, through which online services engage with their users in the development of their content.
