Project description:Photographic images from the university archive scanned and published on the Web server, then catalogued in Dynix library system. Project will be fully functional when Dynix Webpac web interface is implemented during 1998 and aims to provide improved public access to the collection.

Digitisation policy and priorities: No digitisation or online policy.
Timetable: Completed: 1 December 1996 - 1 December 1997.
Budget and funding: Total project budget: less than $A20,000.
Staff resources: Digitisation activities were done inhouse and outsourced in part to Kodak.
Technical standards: Photos copied to 35mm film then scanned to Kodak photo CD format. Photo CD resolution between 128 - 2048 dpi. Indexing done through Dynix library system. Scanning using Kodak proprietary software. Kudo Image Browser, Adobe Photoshop and Equilibrium Debabelizer. Computer: Windows PC. Capturing equipment: Kodak proprietary. Storage devices: Web server.
Cataloguing and indexing: A MARC record has been created for each object.
