Project description: The aim of the Australian Digital Theses program is to establish a distributed database of digital versions of theses produced by the postgraduate research students at the participating institutions. The theses will be available via the Web. The ADT project model has been developed and tested by the original seven partners with a view to opening up the process to all CAUL membership. This is scheduled for the latter part of 2000.

Comments: CAUL will be coordinating the national administration of the program when opened up to full membership. The original seven partners will form the ADT steering committee to oversee further developments.
