description: Australian literature database: a collection of Australian texts
from the 18th century until early 20th century (part of the
Scholarly Electronic Text and Image Service (SETIS)
project). |

Over 100 Australian texts and associated
images currently, all fully searchable, from the beginning of European
settlement until the early twentieth century. Includes novels, plays, verse,
explorers' journals, autobiographies, speeches and articles. Coverage =
1788-1938. |

priorities: |
Accurate electronic editions of historical
printed works in Australia. Creation of integrated database of fully
searchable, uniformly encoded texts. |
