Project description: The State Library of Queensland's TimeWalks provides an interactive journey through the history of Brisbane and other Queensland towns, using images from the collections of the State Library of Queensland's John Oxley Library of Queensland History .

Content: TimeWalks contains panoramas of Brisbane, Maryborough, Ipswich, Townsville, Cloncurry, Mackay, Port Douglas, Bundaberg and Nambour. Five Brisbane panoramas are taken from Bowen Terrace between 1870 and 1998 and a sixth panorama is photographed from the old windmill on Wickham Terrace in 1883.
The best way to view TimeWalks is using a QuickTime-viewer. The panoramas are offered as QuickTime VR movies or as JPG image files in scrollable frames. All QuickTime movies are multiple-data-rate, providing lower resolution versions for slower connections. The panoramas have hotspots that give the viewer extra information about the locality of the hotspot and links to other images and stories.
