Background

The National Korean Studies Centre (NKSC), Korean Studies Research Library was established in 1992 with a grant of $A150,000 from the Australian Research Council (ARC). Its establishment represents a major step in the creation of a world class research collection of library and statistical materials to support the emerging research program of NKSC.

The Korean Studies Research Library is housed as a special collection at Monash University Library and is easily accessible to researchers.

Management and Staffing Stucture

The day-to-day running of the research library is the responsibility of the Monash University Library.

National Korean Studies Centre

Located at Swinburne University of Technology, the NKSC operates as a consortium of four leading Victorian universities:
