Monday 30 July was just a ‘normal’ day for the National Bibliographic Database. 160 libraries from across the country – big, small, public, government, national, state, special – contributed holdings to Libraries Australia that day, either online or via RIS. Some contributed hundreds of holdings, some just one. But sometime during that normal day, RMIT University added the 50 millionth holding to our national union catalogue.
Congratulations to RMIT and to all other libraries that add their holdings to the NBD.
