082 - DEWEY DECIMAL CALL NUMBER (R)
A call number for a series when all or part of the series is classified as a collected set or with the main series. The classification number is taken from the Dewey Decimal Classification and Relative Index; the Abridged Dewey Decimal Classification and Relative Index; and electronic updates to either edition. Through 1997 updates were issued in the DC&: Dewey Decimal Classification Additions Notes and Decisions.
