Location Data
Location Data refers to data about participants in the Libraries Australia Document Delivery service. Location Data is sourced from the Libraries Australia Document Delivery system and is available as a product to support Inter Library Loan activities for those libraries who have implemented their own Inter Library Loan systems. With a growing number of vendors moving to ISO ILL compliance, a number of libraries have implemented Inter Library Loan systems that cannot access the directory data shared in Libraries Australia Document Delivery. This product is designed to address that gap.
The file will be supplied in either Excel Worksheet .xls format or Oracle .dmp format (please contact the Libraries Australia Help Desk if an alternative format is required).
There are three options available when purchasing Location Data - as a single site user, as a consortium, or as a commercial supplier. Libraries Australia customers may choose to have this cost added to their existing Libraries Australia subscription or request a separate invoice.
Processing: Requests will be processed as soon as possible after the order is received.
Notification: Customers will be notified by email with the locations data as an attachment. Where the list cannot be emailed customers will be advised how to collect it from the NLA server.
Pricing for the location data is as follows:
| Single site | $275 (inc. GST) | |
| Consortium | $495 (inc. GST) (where data is loaded on a single shared server) | |
| Commercial | $935 (inc. GST) (commercial supplier may reformat and on-sell to its customers) |
Please complete the relevant printable Location Data Order form and forward it to Libraries Australia using one of the following options:

Email as an attachment with "Location Data request" in the subject line to: librariesaustralia@nla.gov.au
