Survey on support for field 856 in Kinetica

Expert Advisory Group on the Cataloguing of Electronic Resources

The Kinetica Advisory Committee at its meeting in July 2001 recommended that Kinetica develop and promote guidelines to support the reporting of bibliographic records and holdings for electronic resources to the NBD. Draft guidelines were developed by Kinetica. An Expert Advisory Group was established to provide a framework for consultation with Kinetica users and further development of the guidelines. The group also investigated the requirements for support of electronic locations and access information in Kinetica services and products. The group concluded its work and the Guidelines were released in July 2002
