Libraries Australia Annual Forum
TheLibraries Australia Annual Forum is a showcase of the developments in the past year. During this event, highlights of the service are demonstrated, the Annual Report is presented, and future directions are discussed. Delegates have the opportunity to informally meet and discuss aspects of the service with Libraries Australia staff. During the day, service specific sessions are run, allowing for open examination of issues and discussions of workflows. The Forum attracts around 300 delegates annually, and external speakers are invited to attend to present information on directions and services involving the wider library community. The Forum is held in a different city each year and is attended by Libraries Australia practitioners. The next Libraries Australia Forum will be held in Hobart at the Hobart Function and Convention Centre on 6 November 2009. Visit the 2009 Libraries Australia Forum pages for further details.

Libraries Australia Roadshow
Getting the most out of Libraries Australia
This one off road show aims to provide both an overview of the Libraries Australia services as well as discuss the ways in which organisations can more fully utilise the services offered. It is expected that existing users of Libraries Australia services will attend, though those seeking specific information on how to implement Libraries Australia services will also find this session rewarding. This session will be delivered around Australia, extending to both metropolitan and regional areas. During this day there will be opportunities to closely examine workflows, and participation and open discussion will be encouraged. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how the services are interrelated and develop an understanding of how to harness the power of the bibliographic network. It is anticipated that attendees will complete this session with a clear picture of how utilising these services can benefit their organisations.
