Inmagic DB/TextWorks

The Libraries Australia system can now accept non-MARC records for loading into the Australian National Bibliographic Database. It is very easy for DB/TextWorks users to extract records from their library catalogues in an approved format.

DB/TextWorks customers should contact the Libraries Australia Database Services Section, via the Libraries Australia Help Desk if wishing to supply an Inmagic DB/TextWorks file for processing.

Once you are ready to send a batch of data, you will need to design a DB/TextWorks form (see Maxus Australia website below) that will enable you to produce a suitable file. Libraries Australia expects the records to look like this:
