Libraries Australia Advisory Committee election 2011 - request for nominations

The Libraries Australia Advisory Committee has places for up to three elected members, whose terms each last for three years. The term of elected members Chris Taylor and Noelle Nelson will expire in December.

All Libraries Australia member libraries are entitled to nominate candidates for the Libraries Australia Advisory Committee, and to vote in the election. All nominees must be employed in a Libraries Australia member library. The election will be by proportional representation with optional preferences. The successful candidates' terms will be for three years, expiring on 31 December 2014.

Each nomination should include a short statement of the nominee's experience. They will be distributed with the ballot papers for the information of voters.

Following the receipt of nominations, ballots will be dispatched by email to all Libraries Australia users on or around Wednesday 30 November 2011. Voting will conclude on Thursday 15 December 2011.
