Libraries Australia Search Service improvement - Simultaneous Search of CJK now available

Libraries Australia services are available and fully operational following the scheduled work this morning.

The improvement to allow simultaneous searching of Chinese, Japanese and Korean (CJK) character sets has been successfully implemented and tested by our in-house language experts. The Libraries Australia Search Service now incorporates simultaneous searching of:

• Chinese Han, Simplified and Traditional character sets;
• Japanese Kanji, Modern and Traditional character sets; and
• Japanese, Hiragana and Katakana character sets.

The Record Export Service (RES) is available and any waiting RES files will happen at the next scheduled download time.

If you experience any problems, please contact the Libraries Australia Helpdesk on 1800 026 155.
