Minor CBS configuration changes - all Libraries Australia Services will operate as usual over weekend of 22 and 23 March 2014

This Saturday 22 March, we will be installing a new database maintenance tool called CBS Job Manager (CJM). This tool will enable us to perform many of our regular database maintenance tasks more efficiently. This installation of CJM requires us to carry out some minor configuration changes to our CBS cataloguing system at the same time.

Libraries Australia Search, including searching via the Libraries Australia Z39.50 Gateway, Libraries Australia Document Delivery, Record Import Service, Record Export Service and Products will all continue to operate as usual over the weekend.

Once the installation is complete, Database Services staff will conduct testing to ensure that the required changes have not negatively affected database functionality or performance.

As always, if any issues do arise, we will keep members informed. Please don’t hesitate to contact us should have any questions or concerns.
