Using OpenSearch with Firefox 2
If you would like to add the Libraries Australia Search service to your Firefox search bar (located in the top right portion of the screen), you must follow these steps :-
- Browse to the Libraries Australia Search website located at http://librariesaustralia.nla.gov.au
- Click on the triangle next to the your current search engine's icon (by default this is Google) to bring up the options for searching (circled red in the diagram below)-

- Choose Add "Libraries Australia"
- The service is added to your list of search engines and a new icon for Libraries Australia will appear in the search bar -

- Now wherever you are on any the web, you can do an immediate search in Libraries Australia just by choosing it in your search bar -

- After choosing Libraries Aust. type in the text you wish to search for -

- Click on the magnifying glass icon and your search results will be returned
