Using OpenSearch with Internet Explorer 7
If you would like to add the Libraries Australia Search service to your Internet Explorer search bar (located in the top right portion of the screen), you must follow these steps :-
- Browse to the Libraries Australia Search website located at http://librariesaustralia.nla.gov.au
- Click on the triangle next to the search magnifying glass to bring up the options for searching (circled red in the diagram below) -

- Move the mouse pointer over Add Search Providers and then choose Libraries Australia
- A new dialog box will popup in the middle of the screen -

- Click on the button Add Provider.
- Now wherever you are on the web, you can do an immediate search in Libraries Australia just by choosing it in your search bar -

- After choosing Libraries Aust. type in the text you wish to search for and click on the magnifying glass icon -

- Click on the magnifying glass icon and your search results will be returned -
