Register of known issues (ANBD)

Dear Colleagues,

Following some probing questions and excellent feedback from the South Australian User group last year, the Libraries Australia team have collated a Register of Known Issues relating to CBS – the database that underpins many Libraries Australia services including the Australian National Bibliographic Database.

The issues have been collated from Libraries Australia member enquiries and Libraries Australia staff investigations and relate to functionality, services and software anomalies in the CBS system.

The register of known issues can be viewed on the Libraries Australia website at: http://www.nla.gov.au/librariesaustralia/services/cataloguing/anbd-register-of-known-issues/

A number of issues (highlighted on the register) are currently being addressed and Libraries Australia members will be notified of the progress of resolution of the listed issues.

Thank you to our South Australian User Group for taking the opportunity during our staff visit last year to ask about progress on Libraries Australia ‘known issues’.  We believe this information will be useful to all of our members and look forward to reporting on progress and improving your experience of the Libraries Australia service.

Please contact the Libraries Australia Helpdesk to report any issues you encounter that are not listed on the register.
