Welcome to the Libraries Australia Search Redevelopment Project

A welcome from Marie-Louise Ayres, Assistant Director-General, Resource Sharing Division.

"If there's one thing I've learned in my first year with Libraries Australia, it's that our members love to communicate and are wonderfully generous with their thoughts and insights. A year ago you made our job of learning more about what Libraries Australia means to your library by contributing to our survey. I hope you will take all the opportunities this new project blog offers. You will be able to follow our progress, but I hope you will also offer thoughts, likes and dislikes. You can be absolutely sure that we'll take note of every one of them, and that we value your input greatly."

Are you interested in participating in discussions about the new service? Would you like to comment on posts, ask questions and share some of your ideas? We're very interested in hearing from you. It's easy. To be able to comment, all you have have to do is provide your name and email address and you can join in the conversation. Your details won't be displayed when you post a comment. Too busy to check on our blog activity?  Try subscribing to our RSS feed. That way you will know when any new content is added.

  1. This is a great way to enable all of us to feel informed and included in the redevelopment process. Thankyou

  2. Will watch this feed with interest. Thanks.

  3. I have encountered instances where, in viewing a list of search results, it would have been an advantage to have a 'Delete from list' function, by which selected items would be removed from the list
