City of Trees
City of Trees is a multidisciplinary project created by British artist Jyll Bradley to mark the national capital’s 100th birthday.
Bradley has spent the past three years researching this exhibition, from scouring the vast collection of the National Library of Australia, to travelling throughout the capital recording the stories of Canberrans and capturing images for the exhibition.
At the heart of this exhibition is an investigation of identity and place through photography, drawing and sound.
City of Trees is a Centenary of Canberra project proudly supported by the ACT Government, the Australian Government and the National Library of Australia.
