Forte presents the Library’s collection of digitised sheet music, more than 13,000 individual items - your very own browsable, portable and practical music book. Available through iTunes for iPad.

Mobile Catalogue

The National Library of Australia mobile catalogue is a a fast and easy way to search the collection and to find resources using your iOS or Android devices.

Our mobile catalogue allows you to:

  • Quickly search the collection
  • View details of collection items, such as notes, descriptions and publication information
  • Check if collection items are available

The mobile catalogue is available to download for free from iTunes for Apple product users, and Google Play for Android users.

Mobile strategy

Where opportunity exists, conceptual leaders stand ready and eager to innovate. Read the National Library's mobile strategy, launched in May 2012. In order to pave the way for invention and experimentation, the Library hopes that its Mobile Strategy will open up a playing field of creativity and discourse between likeminded institutions and professionals within the mobile realm.
