Citation of Unpublished Material
A correct citation of unpublished material should contain:
- The full name of the Library
- The name of the individual collection
- The manuscript number
- Description of the item
- Examples of preferred style are given below:
- (e) John Gavan Duffy to Deakin, 24 September 1903, Deakin Papers,
National Library of Australia, MS 1540/15/7
- A second reference to the same item, suitably abbreviated, could read:
- NLA MS 1540/15/7
- (f) Minute Books, records of the Australian National Research Council
- National Library of Australia, MS 482A/1/Folders 4-5
- An abbreviated reference to the same item:
- NLA MS 482A/1/Folders 4-5
