The papers were donated to the Library in January 1994.
The collection comprises photographs of Johnson's early life in
England, 1932-43 and photographs, newspaper cuttings, articles,
reports, design submissions, plans and other papers relating to
his career as an architect in England, East Africa, Capetown,
Burma and Australia. Also includes Johnson's 1949 thesis, an autobiographical
narrative written in 1982 and some papers relating to an exhibition
on Johnson in 1992.
