       "Dear Kenneth,
I have just corrected these entries in the archive and thought of you.
Your letter took awhile to sink in....

       '1982
       To Weir G
       From: Orr K
Townsville, James Cook University (Entered as CAE)
       Letter
A cheering letter, with a quote which gives a reason why some
documents have been included in this archive collection - ' I smiled
wryly (?) at your note that you'd begun several and not completed them.
That comment has been made to me before by others. And I always wonder
what it is that compels people to throw partly completed letters away into
the W.P.C. rather than post them. A few scattered segments of unfinished
letters conveys its own message. And what this recipient is usually looking
       for is..."

End Note 1995.12.12

       Dear Reader,

The initial aim in starting this index was to give access to the archive collection.
In the main this has been done.

If time permits there may be a couple of other sections. Notably "Letters to Davo"
(David Studham). These will be a series of introductions to the various volumes,
and will make up for the rather rushed job of file noting.

If it is not a large task I will also try to transfer the index lists onto a data base.
This will make the archive easier to cross reference and research.

I hope you enjoy using index and archive.

At last! Life sanz archive listing!! Now to enjoy the various changes of ages!!!

       All best,
