666 ABC to broadcast live from the National Library
3 October 2011

666 ABC Drive presenter Louise Maher will broadcast live from the National Library on Thursday 6 October as part of the Treasures Gallery opening celebrations.

Louise will present her popular program from 3pm to 6pm with a variety of special guests - all of whom have a story to tell about the new Treasures Gallery.

The new gallery features many of the Library's greatest treasures - from James Cook's Endeavour Journal to a letter by Jane Austen to Jorn Utzon's model for the Sydney Opera House wings.

These treasures and many more will be on permanent display when the Treasures Gallery opens to the public on Saturday 8 October at 10am.
