The National Library's new Treasures Gallery is now open till 9pm on Thursday nights.

Drop in after work to see treasures from the National Library's 10 million-item-strong collection including James Cook's Endeavour Journal, the rare Doncker sea atlas, William Bligh's notebook and list of Bounty mutineers, a letter by Jane Austen to her sister and a theatre playbill - Australia's earliest existing printed document.

Open daily 10 am to 5 pm

10 am to 9 pm Thursdays
