Due to popular demand, Handwritten: Ten Centuries of Manuscript Treasures from Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, will now be open to 9pm on Thursday nights.
See 100 rare manuscripts from the hands of many of history's greats, including Beethoven's original score for the Fifth Symphony, Dante's Divine Comedy, a manuscript by Albert Einstein, a letter by Napoleon Bonaparte, Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, a receipt written by Michelangelo and so much more.
To celebrate Handwritten @ night, the Handwritten Ensemble witll play a program of German classical music in the Foyer at 6pm on Thursdays, while bookplate cafe will stay open, offering special Handwritten-inspired treats including liqueur coffee, strudels and tortes. The bookshop will also be open.
