Writing the Australian Landscape

Writing the Australian Landscape
21 June 2013

Writer Murray Bail will deliver the Kenneth Binns lecture at the 2013 Writing the Australian Landscape Conference from August 3-4.

The theme of this year's conference is how we write about our country - our land of drought and flooding rain of coastal cities and rural landscapes.

Many of this country's favourite writers have been invited to speak, including Bill Gammage, Matthew Condon, Robyn Davidson, Adrian Hyland and Ros Moriarty.

Cost for two days is $120 or $70 for a single day with discounts available for Friends of the National Library/concession card holders/students.

The conference will be held at the National Library in Canberra on Saturday and Sunday, 3-4 August 2013, from 10am to 5pm.
