Capturing a moment in our history

Capturing a moment in our history
24 August 2017

The National Library is calling all Australians to help us collect any published material about the upcoming same-sex marriage survey. This material represents an important moment in our social history, a moment we want to preserve and make publicly accessible for the future.

We want material from all sides of the debate, whether it is in support of same-sex marriage or against it. Examples of material you can contribute include:

  • leaflets, flyers and postcards
  • letters
  • posters
  • signage
  • badges and other wearables

How to donate

Small print items can be brought in person to the reception desk at the National Library of Australia in Canberra.

Donations can also be made via post to:
Ephemera Officer, Printed Australiana
