Table 4. Collecting Level for South Asian Library Materials According to Conspectus Collecting Levels
Provides information on the assessment of the South Asian component of the collection, using the following collecting levels from the Conspectus methodology:
- Introductory or basic material only;
- Basic information supporting general enquiries;
- Supports undergraduate and most graduate instruction;
- Supports postgraduate and independent research; or
- Significant works of recorded knowledge, in all applicable languages.
