Independent Scholars Conference

Perversions of Prejudice - How Bias Distorts is the theme of this year's annual conference of the Independent Scholars Association of Australia to be held at the National Library of Australia.

The annual lecture will be held at 6pm on Thursday 3 November with the association's annual general meeting to follow at 2.30pm on Friday November 4.

Journalist, author and blogger Antony Loewenstein will deliver the keynote lecture on Why Wikileaks forces accountability on the insular journalistic and political club.

The Independent Scholars Assocation was formed in 1995 and is a network of scholars active in a wide range of areas including book and journal publications in the fields of humanities, science and journalism.
