A must-see from the canon of Hong Kong films, this is a brilliant and gorgeous deconstruction of the life of Qing dynasty folk hero Wong Fei Hung, and the first of three Once Upon A Time films featuring Jet Li as an acrobatic, proud, but romantically innocent incarnation of the great master.

Set in late 19th century Canton, this martial arts film depicts the stance taken by the legendary martial arts hero Wong Fei-Hung (1847-1924) against the plundering of China by foreign English, French and American forces.

Starring Jet Li.
