How long will it take to get my order and how do I check on the progress?

“Average delivery” refers to the time taken by the National Library to process the request. It does not include the time taken for the request to reach the Library or the time for the copy to reach you.

You will be contacted if there is a delay or the service you have requested is not available.

Services available:

For printed material

Normal service - average 5 working days
Priority service - average 3 working days

For photographs

Normal Service -  average 15 working days
Priority Service – average 3 working days.

For Oral History

Normal Service – average 10 working days
Priority Service – average 3 working days

For Maps

Normal Service – average 10 working days
Priority Service – average 3 working days

For Manuscripts

Normal Service – average 15 working days
Priority Service – average 3 working days

For material requested from another library (inter-library loan/copy requests) on your behalf.

Average delivery time refers to the time taken for the request to be sent to the other library and the material/response to be received at the National Library.

Priority service - average 5 working days
Overseas service - delivery time not guaranteed

How do I check on progress with my order?
